Power Ranking All 16 Competitors In The WWE UK Tournament
14. Ligero
Nobody in UK wrestling works harder than El Ligero. Such is his commitment to working as many dates as possible that anyone who has been to more than one or two shows at any given promotion in Britain will likely have come across the Mexican Sensation and his high-flying lucha libre style at least once.
In kayfabe-busting fashion, WWE has dropped the 'El' from Ligero's name and is billing him from Leeds, England. They are, however, selling him as the epitome of a committed journeyman who has wrestled hundreds of matches in the last few years alone and thousands since he made his in-ring debut back in 2002.
As far as this tournament goes, though, Ligero has a date with Kiwi juggernaut Travis Banks in the first round. Banks, like Zack Gibson, is another potential winner of the entire tournament and so it seems unlikely that Ligero will be getting the win. It would be great to see him stick around in WWE, though, as he could be a real asset to 205 Live.
