Predicting 2016's WWE PPV Main Events

TLC - Roman Reigns Defeats Seth Rollins

Rollins may be the one to get pinned at Survivor Series, but he won't be done with Reigns. Despite refusing to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, Rollins will petition for a one on one match with the WWE Champion. After winning a Beat the Clock challenge on Raw, he'll earn a TLC match with Reigns at the Pay-Per-View of the same name. Reigns will still be having trouble connecting with the audience, and feuds with smark favorites Triple H, Lesnar, and Rollins won't help. He'll be roundly booed at TLC, but that won't stop him from putting on a classic with Seth Rollins. The challenger will wear Reigns down with repeated chairshots, but the WWE Champion will put Rollins through a table with a Spear to buy himself some time. After taking a few moments to recover, Reigns will set up a ladder, but Rollins will manage to pull him down and keep the match going. With the ladder in the mix, both men will focus more on trying to grab the title than on inflicting punishment on one another... but there'll still be plenty of punishment inflicted. In the end, Rollins will reach for the title, but Reigns will jump off a second, adjacent ladder and Spear the challenger down to the mat. After that, he'll climb the ladder, grab his belt, and end 2016 as WWE Champion.
