Royal Rumble - Brock Lesnar Wins Royal Rumble Match/Seth Rollins Defeats John Cena
The year always starts off with a bang, as the Royal Rumble is one of the most popular events in wrestling history. Unfortunately, the past two years have seen fans hugely disappointed by the event, thanks to WWE's reticence to have Daniel Bryan win. This year, the company won't take any chances, and a true fan-favorite will get the victory. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will be the favorites in the 2016 Royal Rumble, and both will draw late entries. The two will square off in the ring, but eventually get interrupted by other superstars looking to eliminate the competition. Reigns and Lesnar will clear the ring and be left as the final two men in the match. Reigns will daze Lesnar with a Superman punch, but when he gears up for the Spear, Lesnar will hoist him up and F5 him over the ropes and out of the ring. The fans will be elated, and Brock will be heading to WrestleMania to reclaim the WWE Championship. Elsewhere on the show, Seth Rollins will retain the title with a win over a returning John Cena in their final - and greatest - encounter.
