9. SummerSlam - Roman Reigns Vs. Jey Uso
Jey Uso is not the next Undisputed Universal Champion.
A proverbial match vs. Roman Reigns should, however, be contested for the titles, if not for the prodigious dramatisation that it would allow. Jey, as Roman's first challenger in September 2020, broke through as an appreciably dynamite pro wrestler. Largely constrained to tag team matches alongside his brother Jimmy, in which he also excels, Jey was entrusted by WWE with aiding this current arc, unquestionably WWE's most ambitious in decades, and it's a role he exuded brash confidence in, producing genuinely enthralling matches vs. his cousin.
Echoing those matches in a current-day setting - as in with a live audience - would demand vast character development for Jey between now and 5 August to ensure he's not wholly written off before the bell rings and to make him appear as a credible menace to Reigns' time on top. Fail that, and this reads as a random summer SmackDown match, not a Big Five headliner. A stipulation could be added, such as No Holds Barred or Falls Count Anywhere, to exemplify the weight the match would hold at this stage of The Bloodline's chronicle; either way, an acrimonious, vehement brawl is on its way.
