7. Crown Jewel - Roman Reigns Vs. Bobby Lashley

By Crown Jewel, Roman Reigns will be roughly 1,200+ days deep into his unblemished run.

The list of defeated challengers encompasses a sizeable scope of WWE's mid-level-to-top acts, many of whom had their aura crushed upon losing to Reigns. Braun Strowman certainly isn't the same monster he once was. Kevin Owens remains in the same position now as he was then, but that position is a babyface that WWE doesn't care about. Rey Mysterio was aimlessly slotted into a title match to fill a void. Finn Balor can never challenge for a title after that Extreme Rules omnishambles. Sami Zayn's time came and went. Drew McIntyre flopped when he shouldn't have. Cody Rhodes is now part of a rubber chicken meme.

Oddly, the sole name not on the list who should be is Bobby Lashley.

Lashley's stints as WWE Champion were overdue and admirable, 'The All Mighty' controlling Raw's competition for a good chunk of 2021. He and Reigns have clashed before in a match of two halves at Extreme Rules 2018; a stodgy opening stretch was fixed with a superb second half that briefly saved big Bob from the drab that WWE was handing him. That he's yet to face this Roman Reigns though, is odd and should be rectified on the real 'Grandest Stage of Them All'.
