Predicting Next 7 NXT Call Ups To WWE Roster

1. The Ascension

The WWE's tag team division always seems to be in a state of constant flux. It will seemingly always be developed to a point where there are a considerable number of competent and respected teams vying for championship gold, only to sink shortly afterwards and revert to a state where the same few teams are squaring off against each other every single week. It is currently in such a state, as the breakup of The Shield, The Real Americans, The Primetime Players and even 3MB has left just The Usos, Goldust and Stardust Rybaxel, The Wyatt Family and Los Matadores (who are a joke of a team) in the mix, though the company does seem to have realised this and responded with the creation of Slater Gator. NXT's tag division, on the contrary, is currently stacked with potential, from the aforementioned Vaudevillains and Enzo/Big Cass to the likes of the Legionnaires (a French tag team), The Mechanics (A Southern tag team in the vein of Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch) and the athletic pairing of Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger. Most of these teams have only been created recently, however, and for much of the last year the division has been dominated by The Ascension, a dark and deranged team consisting of Konnor (formerly Conor O'Brian) and Viktor (formerly Rick Victor). Since winning the NXT Tag Team Championship last summer, the team have mostly destroyed jobbers week-in week-out, such has been the lack of competition, and their most memorable matchup has perhaps been a bout against The American Wolves (renamed the American Pitbulls on this occasion) at NXT 100 prior to the decision being made not to hire Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards on a permanent basis. Despite this, the team, considered boring by some, have gotten more and more over with the crowd in recent months, aided by said crowd's creation of a 'Yah' chant for them. Having now held the belts for a year, there is nothing more for Konnor and Viktor to do in NXT, and it is way past time that they were brought up to inject new life into a division that can only handle The Usos vs Rybaxel so many times, if only on a short-term basis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsky9BBNZ3g
