The WWE's biggest success story in the last few years has undoubtedly been Daniel Bryan, who has ascended from performing on independent cards of varying sizes to headlining Wrestlemania and having thousands upon thousands of fans chant his name in unison, such is his talent and appeal despite his lack of the traditional 'look' associated with professional wrestlers. Sami Zayn is of a very similar mould to Bryan, being undersized in comparison to the vast majority of his counterparts but able to hold his own in the ring thanks to his considerable experience wrestling in promotions around the world and his incredible repertoire of moves. He is also similar to Bryan in the way that fans have eaten up his act, albeit on a smaller scale, regardless of the fact that his character is essentially a 'guy who has wrestled around the world' and nothing more. The man formerly known on the independent circuit as El Generico has wowed in almost every match he has performed in, notably in a classic two out of three falls encounter with Cesaro but also in bouts against the likes of Jack Swagger, Adrian Neville and Adam Rose (albeit when he was known as the deranged South African mercenary Leo Kruger). Somewhat wooden on the microphone he may be, but Zayn's ability to tell a story in the ring in second to none, and putting him in the ring with somebody like Cesaro on the main roster would have an instant impact on those unfamiliar with his work. From a marketing perspective, the French Canadian's fluency in Arabic could also be a huge selling point given the wide geographic spread of the language. Regardless of whether he is brought up for his talent or his potential money-making ability, Zayn is somebody that paying customers deserve to see sooner rather than later, particularly whilst the company is in need of potential top-tier babyfaces given the ever-growing widespread hatred of John Cena and the departure of CM Punk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JwCJmmaPkw
