Predicting The First 10 AEW World Champions

2. Jon Moxley

There's a chance Jon Moxley could bounce from AEW if he isn't happy with how things are going. Per a July report from Rajah.com, the terms of his deal allow Mox to walk away after just a single year, should he choose to do so. This scenario assumes he doesn't.

Moxley will likely skirt the alignment scale for the duration of his AEW tenure, like he currently does in NJPW. He is chaos. Babyfaces and heels will fall in his crosshairs as he runs through the promotion and he'll remain over as hell no matter who he goes up against, provided his presentation is strong. Thus, while this article had Mox feuding with heel Chris Jericho earlier on, this entry sees him taking his second World Championship from a very over, very babyface Cody.

Cody's run doesn't need to last much longer than a month before Moxley swoops in. It's unlikely that they'd be meeting inside an AEW ring for the first time at this stage, so the promotion can play on whatever All Elite history they have to concoct the right storyline.
