Predicting The Future Of Every Released WWE Wrestler

6. Davey Boy Smith Jr

Promotion: New Japan

Why There: Smith Jr's WWE comeback resulted in one dark match before an episode of SmackDown in July and...that was it. The whole exercise was fruitless, and it'll surely be the last time Davey Boy trusts the promotion now he's approaching his late-30s.

A return to New Japan, where Smith Jr enjoyed three reigns as IWGP Tag Champs alongside Lance Archer, could be in his future plans. He was tearing it up there for years before trying out MLW and then attempting to make a splash in WWE.

Davey, ultimately, will be fine. He's too talented (and commands too much respect in Japan) not to be.
