Predicting The Next 10 WWE Champions

8. The Miz (SummerSlam 2018)

...because for the second time in his own remarkable career, The Miz will shockingly cash in his Money In The Bank contract to become WWE Champion.

Victorious on the June supercard following his return to SmackDown Live!, Miz' impending threat with the briefcase will have been largely underplayed due to his fear of having his face kicked clean off by then-Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

Prepared to take advantage of anybody that takes the top prize from the 'King Of Strong Style' in such exhausting fashion, Miz' victim being career rival Bryan will only be an added bonus for the 'A-Lister'.

To the sound of impassioned boos as SummerSlam goes off the air, Miz will rightfully feel like the king in a world he's quietly ruled over for longer than his newly-won crown suggests. Bryan's heartbreak will remain in key focus, highlighted further when he loses his one contractually obligated rematch to the Champion the following month in an angle that frustratingly steers him away from glory for the foreseeable future.
