Predicting The Next 10 WWE Universal Champions

9. Kofi Kingston Beats Big E

Bit of a wildcard choice here, but listen. If Big E went on to have a dominant run with the Universal Championship while having consistently brilliant performances, then Kofi Kingston would have something to get jealous over. It's a safe bet to say the majority of fans weren't all that convinced with Kofi's performance as champion once all the hype from KofiMania had died down.

A heel turn from the former WWE Champion, which would in turn break up The New Day, would freshen up Kofi, and set him on a collision course opposite E. What about Xavier Woods, you all cry? This is where he returns. We don't hear from Woods again until the pair's title showdown on a big four pay-per-view - let's say SummerSlam - when he resurfaces, 'accidentally' costing Big E the strap.

Of course, Xavier would side with Kofi because there is no need whatsoever for Big E to have anyone behind him in a managerial role. Plus, Xavier works far better in this role when he's the comedic heel as opposed to the all-round good guy. That's not to say he wouldn't ever wrestle during this period - after all, a New Day triple threat would be tantalising - but for the most part, he would be acting in a supporting role here.
