For someone to take the title off of a babyface as beloved as Apollo Crews, they will have to be able to believably not care what anyone thinks and be someone whose just looking out for his own good. That perfectly sums up Baron Corbin - both in and out of character if Breaking Ground is anything to go by. While at the start of his push Baron was stuck in a rut of 30 second squash matches, he has since shown that he can hang with the best between the ropes. Starting with his match against Rhyno at TakeOver: Unstoppable, Corbin has been slowly but surely rising up the card and upping his game in the ring as well. Baron is on his way to the top and he doesn't give a damn whether you like it or not. Corbin's current character is perfect for him and should show in his championship reign as well. He'll be the guy that just goes out to the ring and takes care of business in the most no nonsense way possible. A guy just doing his job, and one that happens to be better at it than anyone else on the roster. NXT is Baron Corbin's house - until it turns into the House of the Rising Sun instead.
