WWE has announced a Fatal 4-Way Men's Tag Team Match for WrestleMania 39, without clarifying the participants at time of writing, but Twitter scoopster WrestleVotes has indicated that the Street Profits, Alpha Academy, Viking Raiders and Braun Strowman and Ricochet will complete the field.

As an all-action spot-heavy match, this is all but guaranteed to be exciting at a minimum - one "benefit" of WWE's regimented way of doing things is that these sort of matches go off without a hitch and hit their dramatic peak - but there's scope for some interesting storytelling and a shocking narrative twist.

Two of the teams are on the outs.

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are being manipulated by various heels. They are each quietly wondering who the breakout singles star is. Meanwhile, Otis (or Otìsė) is drawn to Maximum Male Models (or more specifically, Maxine). Alpha Academy's days may also be numbered.

But what if it is Ricochet and Strowman who split on the night after some miscommunication or other?

Braun, after all, isn't the biggest fan of "flippy" wrestlers.

It will scan as a bait-and-switch shock, and Strowman - who isn't going to be the man as a babyface, despite a very respectable return - could quite easily challenge Cody Rhodes and represent a threat to his title(s) before SummerSlam.

Predicted Star Rating: ★★★½
