Predicting Where Every AEW Wrestler Will Be In 5 Years' Time
49. Lee Moriarty
An incredible mat wizard with enormous potential, his best work is on the indies, on which he continues to supplement his experience.
He's very much still an indie wrestler as opposed to a TV wrestler, which renders this exercise difficult - but evidence suggests that he has a creative, cocksure means of building his brand.
Knowledgable and driven, he's destined for greatness.
48. Lio Rush
Lio Rush has retired several times already, and like so many of us battles depression. One would like to think that a babyface wrestling promotion does exist, and that Rush is presently signed to it and can fulfil his immense potential with its support network in place.
The man is incredible, and was on such great form that his 2019 Cruiserweight Title run was the highlight of the Wednesday Night War at the time.
All going well, it would be an indictment if AEW hadn't replicated that by 2026 at the latest with a TNT Title reign.
47. Chaos Project
Luther's signing was a favour to Chris Jericho. There's no denying that.
It's something for which he has been roundly criticised, but what doesn't get cited often enough is that he has emerged as an entertaining cult fixture on Dark.
Not quite entertaining enough to justify a renewal, of course, but enough to create some nice memories for the ultras.
There's a reason why his Chaos Project tandem never makes Dynamite, and it's for that reason why Luther and Serpentico get a firm handshake on the way out.
