Predicting Where Every AEW Wrestler Will Be In 5 Years' Time
85. Gunn Club
Austin in particular has a decent piss-ant heel persona, and he's enthusiastic, but nobody is out there pitching any Gunn Club fantasy booking, are they?
Their recent go on Dynamite sapped the show of its star power and must-see intrigue. It felt like Dark: Elevation, not that is was expressly bad, per se. Austin and Colten are connected, but they are very low in the concerns of most fans.
In short, they badly need an indie run or Forbidden Door excursion to determine if there's any depth beneath the obnoxious undercard-friendly veneer - and since so many other young prospects are further ahead, the future looks bleak.
84. Bobby Fish
Bobby Fish is an ideal midcard pin-eater.
He's not as mobile in 2021, but his sh*t still looks super-painful. A win over him in a competitive match still scans as an achievement: Jungle Boy looked like the real article in a forgotten Rampage gem a couple of months ago.
He will be 50 in 2026, and at the rate he's slowing down, even this gatekeeper role will be beyond him.
Happily retired is the best informed guess.
83. Brandon Cutler
He can accidentally spray sh*t in people's faces - or have something similar done to him, given that his dorky earnestness is perfect foil for heel cruelty - forever.
He's Two Contracts Cutler, a low-key athletic specimen, whose job is to receive punches in the mush. He's got at it, and he's presumably good at his other one.
He'll still be there, and he'll likely still be under-appreciated.
