It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that The New Day are the biggest creative success in WWE’s recent history. The trio looked dead on arrival way back in late 2014, but the power of positivity soon saw Kofi, Big E. and Xavier Woods rise to the top. They’ve broken title records and sold huge amounts of merchandise ever since, and the train doesn’t seem to be slowing down one jot.

All three members are immensely talented performers, and could be valuable additions to whatever singles programs they find themselves in. Big E. has the most potential of the three, and has been earmarked as a future world champion by many for a long time now. When the group eventually decides to focus on singles competition, the former Langston must get the most shine.

A former WWE Intercontinental Champion, it would be no surprise whatsoever to see Big E. holding the Stars and Stripes come the end of 2018. The second-ever NXT Champion could well be the best candidate to take the title from current champion Bobby Roode, presuming The Glorious One turns heel later in the year.
