9. Bron Breakker Vs. Sheamus
GUNTHER has rightly earned praise for his performances since becoming Intercontinental Champion, but nobody develops in wrestling alone. Sheamus played a huge part in elevating the Austrian to new heights by putting on several sensational matches with him, and that shouldn't be overlooked when fans are dishing out praise.
The justification for this match is that Sheamus could do the same for Bron Breakker. He should be jumping up from NXT fairly soon, so Bron might've already bedded in on Raw/SmackDown by the time 'Mania XL rolls around. If so, cool. If not (and there are never any guarantees NXT > main roster leaps will work 100% of the time), then a match vs. Sheamus could help him.
Let these lads beat the sh*te out of one another.
A good 15-20 minutes of super-stiff carnage would endear Breakker to casual fans the same way trading meaty chops with Sheamus did for GUNTHER. Also, selfishly, your writer just wants to see Bron hit some Steiner-esque suplexes.
