1. It's One Of The Best Video Game Movies Ever

And finally, though video game fans are still left waiting for the first ever video game movie to earn more than 60% on Rotten Tomatoes, Rampage is at least an encouraging step in the right direction, and is certainly one of the best-crafted movies based on a game yet.

Sure, it's not really faithful to the source material, but given the basic nature of the Rampage games, there was clearly plenty of room to run with the concept for a feature film.

It delivers the thrills fans will both expect and hope for, and alongside the recent not-awful Tomb Raider movie, it feels like we're inching ever-closer to an actually great video game movie. Wouldn't that be amazing?
