Randy Orton Sets The Fiend ON FIRE! - WWE TLC 2020!

Last night's PPV went out in a blaze of glory!

With WWE currently desperate to bring eyes to its product, what better way to send shockwaves through the wrestling industry than by setting one of your biggest stars on fire?!?!

As last night’s WWE TLC PPV drew to a close, audiences saw Randy Orton claim a victory over ‘the Fiend’ Bray Wyatt after setting the Eater of Worlds ablaze. Not just that, but Orton hit his patented RKO on a lit-up Wyatt to claim the spoils.

Even after picking up the 1-2-3 on the on-fire Fiend, the Viper still wasn’t finished with his nefarious plans – for we were then treated to a post-match attack that saw Orton throw a lit match at his opponent, which in turn lit up Wyatt from head-to-toe.

To say this was a striking visual would be an understatement of ginormous proportions, and it’s certainly something that has got the wrestling world talking. Many had wondered why the Fiend had wrestled this main event bout with his jacket on, and that was clearly done in order to “safely” set Wyatt on fire without outright burning his flesh.

Whether this insane conclusion to TLC will be enough to start an upturn of the Raw ratings – last week’s Raw being the lowest rated episode in the history of the flagship show – we’ll have to wait and see.
