From one of the stars of the New Era to one of the company's longest tenuring, Kofi Kingston is an individual that many feel represented a huge missed opportunity for World Wrestling Entertainment. It feels like a lifetime ago that Kingston was hitting the Boom Drop on Randy Orton in Madison Square Garden, seemingly on his way to becoming the next big babyface in the company.

It might as well be a lifetime ago really, as Kingston found himself dropped back into mid-card purgatory until reinventing himself in the tag team division as part of The New Day. Kofi is exciting once again, and when the current tag champions inevitably split up it'll be fascinating to see what happens with the man from Ghana, West Africa.

Maybe he'll finally get that World Championship he so richly deserves for his years of service and consistently high performance level.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
