Ranking All 12 WWE Champions Of The Decade (So Far)
5. Randy Orton
This decade, Orton has spent over 250 days as champion, spread out over three separate reigns. He remains the WWE's go-to guy when an emergency champ is needed, having previously established himself as a perennial main-eventer in the eyes of the fans. His first reign was partially overshadowed by the ongoing Cena/Nexus feud, which spilled over into many of Randy's title defences. Thankfully, however, his second and third reigns saw him firmly in the spotlight. His shocking alignment with Triple H's Authority faction saw Orton screw the beloved Daniel Bryan out of his first ever WWE Championship, a fantastic piece of storytelling which simultaneously established him as the most dastardly heel in the company once again. This reign was ended after a dubious finish to Bryan's rematch at Night of Champions, but Orton quickly regained the belt in a dramatic Hell In A Cell encounter. The proudest moment of Randy's time with the title came at TLC 2013, where he cleanly defeated John Cena to unify the WWE and World Heavyweight Championship.
