Rarely does a match convey genuine emotion in the way that Brock Lesnar vs. Eddie Guerrero did. If there was anybody in the building (or at home for that matter) who was rooting for Lesnar, it was a very small minority. The fans were on the edge of their seats for the entire match, which ended up being one of the best of the year. Eddies victory was one of the most cathartic for those who recognized true talent that had been eternally held back because of size. Add to the fact that the world lost Eddie the next year, it makes Eddies WWE Championship win all that more special. The Eddie/Lesnar match would already be enough to catapult No Way Out 2004 to the top of the list, but the undercard was also really solid. The Angle/Cena/Show #1 contendership match was very good (even if Angles win tipped WWEs hand as to who would win in the main event), and the Rey vs. Chavo Cruiserweight Championship match was also fantastic.
