4. Rowdy Roddy Piper Vs. Bret Hart (WrestleMania 8)
It wasn't often that Piper laid down clean for anyone, but he made an exception for long-time confidant Hart. The two babyfaces were paired together for what seemed to be a match based on respect, although the in-match story pitted the two as freakishly competitive to the point of over-aggression. It was Piper's brawling against Hart's wrestling, and the intensity level went up when Piper busted Hart open with a cheap shot. The finish was a clever bit of business, with Hart reversing Piper's famed sleeperhold by kicking off the turnbuckles, rolling backward into a double arm-hold pin. The win was a credible notch in Hart's belt, and a good slice of face-vs-face wrestling that was far from clean - it was naturally brutal.
