14. Karrion Kross & Scarlett

It’s tough to score former NXT Champion Karrion Kross and his valet Scarlett’s 2022 in WWE.

Kross was the poster child for NXT superstars the main roster screwed up royally, calling him up in 2021 to lose his debut match to Jeff Hardy in two minutes. They watered down his elaborate entrance – he didn’t even have Scarlett – and gave him a gladiator helmet and suspenders to wear. Then they released him in November.

The duo found their way back in August under the Triple H regime and got a significant push, feuding with Drew McIntyre and then Rey Mysterio to close out 2022. But the McIntyre rivalry was a disappointment, with underwhelming matches and a lackluster overall vibe.

Still, at least Kross is getting a much fairer shake this time around and not being sabotaged by a crappy gimmick change.
