A year that was infamous for the invasion angle, it started off incredibly well for 'Deadman Inc.' as he engaged in strong back-to-back main-event level programs with Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin - the latter of which revolved around the WWE Championship.

What set this year apart from the rest, however, was the fact that he and Kane became an official tag team for the first (and only) time in their careers, as they (along with the Two-Man Power Trip) brought the division into the main event picture, winning the WWE Tag Team Championship twice and even capturing the WCW Tag Team Titles too.

Though being at the forefront of the invasion angle always felt right given his longevity in the company, it was undercut by that infamous DDP stalker storyline. And the less said about that, the better.
