Vince McMahon was desperate to suggest his suddenly smaller stars were just as massive in aura if not stature when he presented the last large-scale WrestleMania for nearly a decade in 1992.

Adding to the mammoth crowd that filed into Indianapolis' Hoosier Dome, the company debuted an insane neon doorway that would serve as television staple for several years. It was a clinical overreach from The Chairman, matching the strip-lights in the famous Titan Tower gym as he desperately tried to capture the glow of the 1980s in increasingly testing times.
