Ranking All The Undertaker's WWE UK Moments - From Worst To Best

9. Kane vs. The Undertaker (Mayhem In Manchester, 1998)

'Mayhem In Manchester' was a strange event. The full show was never released in full form for either North American or UK markets. Instead, it was heavily edited, an abridged version existing on video tape. Matches such as Jeff Jarrett vs. Brakkus and Justin 'Hawk' Bradshaw v. Marc Mero were hardly the most inspiring. Nonetheless, people were excited to see Kane face The Undertaker. Coming hot on the heels of WrestleMania XIV, this was the bout most people in Manchester wanted to see. There was also the enticing prospect of seeing new WWF Heavyweight Champion Steve Austin defend the strap against Triple H. That wasn't the main event though, that slot belonged to The Undertaker vs. Kane. Sadly for all involved, Undertaker had travel issues. His bags going missing at the airport, 'Taker was forced to work the match in street clothes. This created the very weird visual of seeing 'Biker' Undertaker before that character even existed. The full match is difficult to find, but even the highlights make it clear the action was entertaining. Going over 20 minutes, The Undertaker was handed the victory. There would have been confusion over his dress sense in the crowd, but the quality of the match didn't suffer.
