4. Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match For The WWE Championship: Big Show Vs. The Rock Vs. Mick Foley Vs. Triple H - WrestleMania 2000

WWE.com
Big Show was one of three challengers chasing Triple H and the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 2000. A man who felt as though he was unjustly chastised by The Rock, then screwed out of a Royal Rumble victory by an inattentive referee. With no other option, he adopted a meaner and nastier attitude than ever before and aligned himself with the arrogant and rambunctious Shane McMahon ahead of the big Fatal 4-Way match that headlined that year's event. Unfortunately, the heavyweight competitor's stint in the match was relatively short-lived compared to that of Mick Foley and the aforementioned Triple H and Rock. Obviously the biggest threat to either of those three Superstars leaving with the title, he found himself on the receiving end of the finishing maneuvers of all three of his opponents, finally succumbing to the Rock Bottom. Though his exit was hast, his contributions to the match provided it with just one of the many stories that would intertwine to create a main event underrated by modern historians.
