Time will tell if Awesome Kong can still go beyond squash matches and multi-person bouts, though it looks like she's going to be an effective mauler in AEW's women's division. Positioning her as Brandi Rhodes' muscle makes all the sense in the world. The hair-collecting gimmick is interesting too, though there's no way of telling if it's over yet. Let's see how it pans out.
