Cody is AEW's rightful babyface ace.

The Jeff Jarrett comparisons are nonsense because wrestling is a star-driven business, and Cody is the biggest star in the world to the AEW audience. 'Double J' wishes he was ever this over. 'The American Nightmare' might be the most over babyface in North America today, regardless of promotion, and that the crowd receive him as a hero justifies his push.

Cody's performances have been tremendous, too. That "same silver spoon" promo took an already excellent Chris Jericho programme to the next level, we've already waxed lyrical about the Dustin Rhodes bout, and drawing with Darby Allin helped elevate the up-and-comer. This is the best version of Cody the sport has ever seen.
