Ranking Every AEW & WWE Show In 2021 From Worst To Best

11. WWE | Royal Rumble

This was the first big pay-per-view of the year for WWE and the favorite of many fans. This is also the first big show after the death of Brodie Lee, making it an emotional night, even more so thanks to The New Day and their Lee-inspired gear.

Billie Kay was one of the highlights of the night and when Jillian Hall came in at number 8, we got the most amazing tag team of all time, Billie & Jillie. It's sad looking back at this year's rumble and seeing so many missed opportunities for feuds. Toni Storm Vs. Ruby Riott would have been amazing, and the number of women who are not there anymore. This Rumble also built two new main event stars in Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair, making this the match of the night.

Another great moment of the night was the in-ring return of Christian. Admittedly this would prove to be more successful for IMPACT Wrestling and AEW in 2021, but for a lot of his fans, this was a huge moment. The returns were fun as they should be, the other matches did their job but were just there as window dressing.
