Ranking Every Ambulance Match In Wrestling History From Worst To Best

By the time Starrcade 2000 rolled around, the writing was on the wall for WCW. Less than four months later, Vince McMahon purchased the promotion's remnants, meaning the Ambulance Match between Mike Awesome and Bam Bam Bigelow on WCW's biggest pay-per-view of the year was also their last.

A decent brawl, this one didn't suffer from endless run ins or those familiar non-finishes. That makes it the best Ambulance Match in WCW history; hardly a grand statement, but Awesome and Bigelow do deserve some credit for their work, even if it was a bit jarring to see Awesome playing babyface so shortly after his WCW debut as a killer heel.

The ending came when Bigelow fell through the roof of the ambulance, giving Awesome another win by default. This match would've been a bit better, had the guy driving the ambulance not looked so nonchalant when a pair of huge men were knocking lumps out of one another and crawling all over his vehicle.
