Ranking Every Current WWE Belt Design From Worst To Best

8. Intercontinental Championship

WWE faced a tough task revamping one of their all time great title designs with the Intercontinental Championship last year. The belt's design harkened back to the classic design of the 1980s and remained an iconic design, but it had started to grow stale after nearly eight years of use on the main roster.

WWE therefore updated the title last year with a brand new design that was unlike any IC title that came before it. Sporting a black and gold aesthetic, the new title features an exciting middle plate design, with the WWE logo nestled within the myriad of shapes that make it up. The globes sticking out to the side also manage to look excellent, while the taller oval in the middle gives the title a unique look when compared to others in the company.

The only real downside of the strap is that the belt doesn't have a terribly exciting colour palette outside of the black and gold. While this shouldn't detract from an excellent design, it just prevents it from breaking into the top end of WWE's championship lineup.
