https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ju0qVYzn8G4 Sami Zayn may be a hell of a wrestler, but his finisher is surprisingly only decent. For a scrappy guy who is tremendously talented, he essentially resorts to a boot in the face. Back in ROH, Zayn (as El Generico) relied on a variety of brainbusters to win his matches. With WWE shying away from moves where wrestlers land on their head/upper shoulders, he went with one of his former trademark moves instead. The Helluva kick often looks like more of a face brush than a knockout, but it can still be fairly exciting to watch due to the charisma of Zayn.
51. Sasha Banks: Banks Statement
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH8sD5_LS9c Post Chris Benoit, the Crossface hasn't been the most comfortable move to watch in wrestling. Shawn Michaels used it from time to time, and Cesaro has taken to it lately too, but only Sasha Banks performs the maneuver as her go-to finisher. Submissions are quite popular in the Divas' division these days, and Sasha has found a nice one that works for her. There's just something villainous about yanking at your opponent's neck as they beg for mercy, that perfectly fits her character. The Banks' Statement gets bonus points for Sasha being able to pull it out from a variety of situation. The backbreaker into the Statement is especially devastating.
50. The Usos: Diving Splash
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89uX0jO9pgQ Nothing too crazy here, but a nice looking aerial attack nonetheless. The Uso's diving splash looks like it would probably ruin your day if they decided to use it on you in real life. Both Jimmy and Jey use the splash to win matches, and both are able to get impressive height off of the top-rope. It's probably not a move that you'll rewind on your DVR to re-watch, but it more than gets the job done.
49. Charlotte: Natural Selection
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjJZqdSwXqI Ideally, every wrestler would have a couple of finishing moves at their disposal. That way it opens up more opportunities for matches to end, increasing the drama of each contest. Charlotte has done well for herself so far, with two legitimate finishers that are varied in their execution. With Natural Selection, she dives over her opponents head and hits them with a rolling cutter. The only drawback is that unlike the RKO or Diamond Cutter, the number of situations she can hit the move is very limited. But hey, she still has two more effective finishers than her dad ever had!
48. Seth Rollins: Pedigree
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vr6Un0G8CrI Triple H's version of The Pedigree would be higher on this list if he was in the ring more, but due to his Rock-like schedule he isn't ranked. Seth Rollins recently inherited his bosses' finisher when his great Curb Stomp one was taken away. So far, it just doesn't look right. Maybe it's because we need to adjust to someone else using such a classic move, or maybe Seth just hasn't got comfortable using it yet.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
