Somehow, despite looking like a largely dreadful pay-per-view going in, Halloween Havoc 1998 had serious intrigue. Warrior and Hulk Hogan would be working together for the first time since WrestleMania VI eight years prior. Not only that, but Bret Hart vs. Sting, Kevin Nash vs. Scott Hall and Goldberg vs. DDP were also scheduled.

The latter match saved the entire show.

This might be higher on the list had WCW not conspired to screw everything up - many fans who'd bought the show on pay-per-view missed DDP vs. Goldberg when feeds went dark. Havoc '98 ran over its allotted time, because of course it did.

Best Moment: The main event (one most viewers missed).

Worst Moment: Hogan vs. Warrior II.
