Making a surprise return as entrant number two in Bound For Glory's Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match, Daivari (Shawn, not Ariya) returned to Impact Wrestling, and has since secured himself a full-time deal. A Turning Point loss to Eddie Edwards, and TV draw with Fallah Bahh, owing to Eric Young and Joe Doering's interference, showed that the former X Division Champion can still go in the ring.

Having formerly been a producer for WWE until being released on the infamous Black Wednesday, it's a role that would suit him perfectly should he reprise it in his new home.
