Ranking EVERY Impact Wrestler's 2020 From Worst To Best
33. Cousin Jake
Cousin Jake, alongside Cody Deaner, didn't have the best start to 2020. A match against the team of Johnny Swinger and Glenn Gilbertti (sigh), and rivalry vs. Cancel Culture (even bigger sigh) did nothing to help further Jake's Impact career. Victories for The Deaners over XXXL, Reno Scum, and Fallah Bahh and TJP got them nowhere near the World Tag Team Championships.
If it hadn't been for some of Jake's singles outings, he wouldn't be this high up. The Deaner cousin had an impressive showing in an eight-way contest back in March saw him within inches of earning an X Division Championship opportunity, while the shot he did have at the title at Turning Point against Rohit Raju had Jake ever so close to ending Rohit's reign. Now on his own following Cody's heel turn, there's never been a better time to replace Cousin Jake with Jake Something.
