It took a while for Kimber Lee to fully take off after being signed to an Impact contract in spring. Two wins over Havok helped her in the beginning, but it wasn't until she aligned with Deonna Purrazzo that Lee's Impact career flourished.
Dubbing herself 'The Crown Jewel', Lee's association to the Knockouts Champion allowed her to be a prominent member of the knockouts division. It's worth noting that her win/loss record says otherwise, but simply because she's aligned with the current champion, it doesn't matter all that much. Furthermore, look at her record - the losses have come against some of the top names in the division. Kylie Rae, Rosemary. Taya Valkyrie - it's hardly a bad thing to lose to these huge names.
What's better is that Lee doesn't necessarily need Purrazzo to succeed. Just wait until 'The Virtuosa' leaves her behind, and see what happens.
