Ranking EVERY Impact Wrestler's 2020 From Worst To Best
23. Willie Mack
From an in-ring standpoint, Willie Mack had an outstanding 2020. His Hard To Kill Handicap Match vs. The North is still a great watch, as are his X Division Championship matches with Ace Austin and Chris Bey from Rebellion and Slammiversary, respectively. The Bound For Glory Scramble Match is a forgotten gem that involves plenty of tantalising action, and his battles with Moose - albeit, as part of an exhausting storyline - have been brutal at times.
It's the booking of him that holds him back here.
'Chocolate Thunder' went from being X Division Champion in the first half of the year, to being involved in laborious rivalries in the second half. It's still a mystery why he was pleased with the outcome of his Brian Myers rivalry. Mack was 2-1 down to Myers after their final outing. If his booking can improve in 2021, it could be the year of Mack. He has all the other tools necessary.
