11. Bayley Vs. Bianca Belair

On the good WWE main roster show, actual ratings draw and tremendous heel act Bayley lost to Natalya for absolutely no reason on December 4. The erratic veteran presence has done nothing of note since; Bayley, meanwhile, was being readied as Bianca Belair's breakthrough opponent.

After Bayley defeated Belair to...start their programme.

As backwards as the cap Triple H probably still thinks is cool, this was legit worm-brained idiocy. But the feud has since developed a vintage sports entertainment flavour that, while Very WWE - and thus unlikely to become a critical hit or grow the audience - isn't not fun, at least writing subjectively.

Bianca Belair's use of facial expressions undercut the farcical 'Ding Dong, Hello' chat show. This was key. She knew it was dumb, pompous bullsh*t just as much as the audience did.

Also, the assault course gimmick was entertaining WWE fluff that effectively positioned Belair as a jaw-dropping athlete. She carried Otis - who had materialised out of thin air in a wonderfully irreverent sight gag - around the ring. The subsequent beat-down looked convincing as hell, too.

Fun!

Silly.

Not groundbreaking.

Too frivolous, probably.

But fun!
