WWE switched some big time names during the 2023 Draft's opening night!

The first night of WWE's 2023 Draft is in the history books.

In total, legends like Triple H, RVD, JBL, Shawn Michaels and more announced 16 different brand picks split between the top two shows on Friday's episode of SmackDown. They'll be bolstered by another round of supplemental picks set to be announced later on Saturday (which may have happened by the time you read this).

Perhaps the biggest change came when reigning Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair was traded to SmackDown as the third overall pick. There were other major show jumps too, but WWE couldn't resist the urge to pretend that workers staying put on a brand they were already on was somehow huge news.

It isn't, and that's reflected in the rankings here.

Who was the best Draft pick from the opening four rounds on TV then? Also, does at least one of the announcements tease more crazy changes when Raw continues the fun on Monday? This could, in theory, be the beginning of the end for WWE's biggest faction.

NXT stars hit the main roster and champs changed brands, but who was the best and who was the worst?! Let's find out...

16. The Miz

Draft Position: #6 for Raw. #12 overall.

Brand Switch: N/A.

Hey, look! It's The Miz, and he's staying on Raw! GET HYPED! Seriously though, why did this need to be announced during the first four rounds of Draft picks on TV? It'd make more sense if midcard 'Wrestler A is staying on Raw' reveals were kept back for the supplemental draft, or something.

Who's really excited about this? It doesn't change a thing about WWE's product, and comes across as a wasted pick more than anything else. That's not slating Miz either, because there are some heavy-hitters following him on this list.
