4. Edge

WWE Draft 2023 Drew McIntyre Indi Hartwell Bianca Belair Edge
WWE

Draft Position: #4 for SmackDown. #7 overall.

Brand Switch: Raw > SmackDown.

According to the great man himself, time is very-much against Edge. He reckons he has another year of top work left in him before starting to think about retirement on his own terms. That's a bit of a bummer, but it's cool that the legend will get to spend that time on SmackDown.

He's always going to come across as a major acquisition.

Is another title tilt in Edge's future? He worked brilliantly opposite Roman Reigns before, but that could be a bit samey to the audience. Edge vs. literally anyone else will work, to be fair. He's cherished by fans.
