Ranking Every Night One WWE 2023 Draft Pick From Worst To Best

9. Shinsuke Nakamura

WWE Draft 2023 Drew McIntyre Indi Hartwell Bianca Belair Edge
WWE

Draft Position: #7 for SmackDown. #14 overall.

Brand Switch: SmackDown > Raw.

Shinsuke Nakamura's business with Karrion Kross will presumably be concluded before the rosters lock in post-Backlash. Unless, of course, WWE plans to take Kross and Scarlett over to Mondays as well. Then, they can keep banging that drum and book a series of matches between the pair.

The major plus to this is that Shin bolsters the midcard scene on Raw. He'll come in handy when writers need someone to work an easy 15-20 minute match, and his revitalised "King Of Strong Style" gimmick will mesh well against the likes of Imperium, Cody Rhodes and more.

This is a decent-enough switch.
