The Highlights: After conquering several major cities in the United States and even England, it was time for NXT to travel to The Great White North. The audience was electric all night long at TakeOver: Toronto and made Bobby Roode vs. Tye Dillinger a better bout than it likely should have been, due to both men having Canadian roots.

In addition to Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe producing yet another above-average main event match, #DIY and The Revival contested arguably the greatest match of 2016. Their masterpiece of a matchup over the NXT Tag Team Championship was a thing of beauty and culminated in an emotional title victory for Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa.

The Low Points: Fans don't currently look back at TakeOver: Toronto as being among the most epic installments ever, but why? Sure, the build-up heading into the event was underwhelming, but everything on the card was either good, great or amazing. If anything, Authors of Pain vs. TM-61 was merely decent but only because the rest of the event was so stellar in comparison.
