Remembered more as the match in which Shawn Michaels clipped four years off of his iconic career by clipping the edge of a casket, 'HBK's Royal Rumble feud-ender with The Undertaker wasn't without its charms even if the consequences were dire.

As evidenced across decades, 'The Heartbreak Kid' and 'The Deadman' had almost incomparable chemistry. This may have lacked the fire and the fury of their battles the prior year, but there were few others in the company at the time that could be so comfortably relied upon to deliver a main event that felt bigger than it actually was.
