5. Triple H Vs Cactus Jack - 2000

Royal Rumble
WWE

Triple H owes much of his vast incoming empire to Mick Foley for the jobs the 'Hardcore Legend' did for and with him in 2000, with Royal Rumble's era-defining street fight as important for 'The Game' as Andre was for Hulk or Hart was for Austin.

It takes a star to make a star, and in Madison Square Garden that night, Cactus Jack was the brightest in the "World's Most Famous Arena". His efforts to get the company's next great hope over were noble to a fault - after letting The Rock pound his face to burger meat the year before, he insisted Triple H drop him eyes-first into hundreds of drawing pins 12 months on.
