Assembling one of the longest pay-per-view matches of that or any era, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H took the better part of 45 minutes to settle their differences in an end-of-the-world "Three Stages Of Hell" match.

Psychologically sound to stop it feeling like laborious plunder work, the two put everything into concluding a rivalry that in hindsight didn't warrant an encounter this awesome.
