Zelina Vega, real name Thea Trinidad, has spent the bulk of her time so far in NXT in the role of a manager rather than a wrestler, although there is little doubt that her long-term future lies inside the squared circle.

During her stint in the Impact Zone as Rosita, Trinidad played a big part in the short-lived TNA Knockouts Tag Team division between 2011 and 2013, holding the belts once alongside kayfabe cousin Sarita.

For now, though, there are worse places to be than by the side of Andrade Almas, a performer of growing repute - particularly in the wake of his five-star NXT Title bout with Johnny Gargano at last week's TakeOver: Philadelphia show.

While this, on its own, can't command a place at the top of this list, there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about Vega's chances in 2018, especially with new opportunities brought about by the recent expansion of WWE's female ranks.
