Ranking Every TNA Wrestler's Success In WWE
10. Austin Aries
The WWE career of Austin Aries perhaps has to go down as a failure, even though he and Neville threatened to bring relevance to the drab Cruiserweight division early last year with a series of impressive under-card matches, including on the WrestleMania pre-show.
Unfortunately, nothing ever came of it in the long-term. Aries wasn't able to topple the supposed King of 205 Live, and ended up cutting ties with the company altogether at the climax of their feud, apparently citing frustrations with the creative direction of his character.
This, as viewers of TNA will know, is a far cry from the former Ring of Honor star's time in the Impact Zone, where he performed between 2011 and 2015, capturing the promotion's biggest prize once and headlining Bound For Glory with Jeff Hardy in 2012.
After returning to Orlando late last year, he's picked up exactly where he left off, grabbing the world title once more to spearhead what could be an exciting new era for a company that has previously been plagued with alleged financial mismanagement. Will WWE have any regrets? Perhaps not, but he deserved far more than he was given during his time on their books.
