Ranking EVERY Undertaker Vs Kane Match From Worst To Best

12. Survivor Series 1998 (November 15th, 1998)

Undertaker, Kane, WrestleMania XIV

The first of their matches to openly reflect a change in heel/face dynamics between the two after The Undertaker reunited with Paul Bearer at Judgment Day a month prior, this Survivor Series tournament clash was kept lean by comparison - but that's about the kindest sentiment it warrants.

The 1998 Autumn extravaganza was famously dedicated to the layered and intricate Deadly Game tournament ultimately won by The Rock thanks to the careful plot construction of the McMahon family on-screen and Vince Russo off. The thread throughout the night successfully sought to thrill, but even with all matches taking a back seat to the story, this one still ranked quite low.

The confines of pay-per-view and the bracket concept for the show only afforded them seven minutes. And though it was nice to see most of the hits without ten extra minutes of the sh*ts, there was clearly still a problem capturing the majesty of their WrestleMania match or the energy of a surprising TV belter (more on that later) on a more consistent basis. More's the pity - they fought a lot.
